We are the official branch of the Consulate General in Brussels and act as an extension of the Embassy of Peru in Luxembourg.
Our functions include providing guidance and assistance to Peruvian citizens, facilitating communication between Peruvian citizens and the Luxembourg authorities, as well as promoting the cultural and commercial interests of our country.

About us
The Honorary Consulate of Peru in Luxembourg, headed by architect Alexander Valenzuela García and appointed by the Peruvian State, operates under the supervision of the Consulate General of Peru in Brussels. Our mission is to offer consular assistance, guidance and support to Peruvian citizens, as well as to promote cultural, commercial and educational exchange between Peru and Luxembourg. We have a suitable and independent space to serve the Peruvian community, in compliance with the regulations established by the Consular Regulations of Peru.

Services
Assistance with consular procedures (with limitations):
- Help and guidance on how to process passports, visas or permits in coordination with the Consulate General of Peru in Brussels.
- Certification of simple documents, such as notarial acts, although its scope may vary according to the regulations of the host country.
- Act as a liaison between the Peruvian government and local authorities on matters of common interest, such as official events, international forums or bilateral situations that do not require a higher level of diplomatic intervention..

Citizen assistance:
- To provide basic assistance to Peruvian citizens in emergency situations, such as arrests, legal or medical problems.

Visa to live and work in Luxembourg
Nationals of certain non-EU countries who wish to visit, transit through or work in Luxembourg must have, prior to their departure, a valid travel document with a visa issued by a consular authority of one of the Schengen countries.
Long-term resident status for third-country nationals
Long-term resident status may be granted to any third-country national who has been legally resident in Luxembourg for an uninterrupted period of at least 5 years. .

You will have to fulfil certain requirements and follow the procedures established according to your situation. You can apply for a visa or residence permit depending on your objectives in Luxembourg, whether it is for study, where you will have to enrol in a recognised university or educational institution, you will need to prove admission, sufficient financial resources and health insurance.
